As we were leaving the World Vision project area tonight we stopped by an area that is on our list of communities we would like to start a work if we had the funding. At the center of this community of 500 is a tiny evangelical church whose pastor has a big vision. In the 80 plus year history of this small community no one has ever graduated from high school This last year through the pastors hard work and dedication, 10 students went to the university, a first for this community. Strong leaders like this and dedicated churches are fertile ground for successful World Vision projects. I'm praying that we will be able to move into this community soon.
